Whiskey pralined bacon

Whiskey Pralined Bacon 8 slices center cut bacon 1/4 cup brown sugar (light for less sweet, dark for more) 1/4 cup finely crushed pecans 3 tablespoons whiskey 2 Tablespoons water Preheat oven to 350. Mix brown sugar and pecans in a large ziploc bag. Mix water and whiskey on a plate with a raised edge. Drudge bacon through whiskey mix and shake in
sugar mix until coated. Do only piece of bacon in bag at a time to make sure they are covered well. Cook on a wire cooking rack in a shallow baking pan for 30 minutes until crisp and sugar caramelizes. It is important to use the rack so the bacon doesnt lay right on the pan and lay in its own grease, otherwise it will not caramelize and crisp properly Should go great crumbled over a spinach salad with goat cheese and dried cranberries.
